This is actually yesterday’s outfit – but do you know what wasn’t there yesterday?! Today’s game ✊🏾💥 Spent last night rethinking the world with @oteghauwagba, I’m always in awe at how I’ve been able to attract such meaningful connections in my life these past few years, those I wish were around when I was younger and adamant there was nowhere I’d ever fit. Misfits, innit. Self-care is also about giving your wings room to spread bigger, so it also means recognising when the room becomes too small for said wings to spread. And relationships are just that, merging our rooms to allow our wings to spread even bigger. Yet I look at relationships that I’ve clung onto for years, for the sake of history, when really what matters is the ROOM… ✨ (Realness = I’ve had to learn that the hard way though, through coups and betrayals, the Universe often likes to pack a punch but how else do I listen, eh?!😅) . #ootd #gifted #sezaneaddict

While we’re in this valley, it’s important to use this time to better not only our business, but also ourselves! // 1. Communicate with your customers and community. In this uncertain time, it’s important to nurture your relationship with your PEEPS. Send updates through an email newsletter, text chain, or social media profiles to start conversations and find ways to connect. 2. Realign yourself with your mission. Deep dive into why you started and how you are going to kick butt after this storm! Figure out how you can best serve your community during this specific time. 3. Connect with other business owners or creators around you. Set up a FaceTime or phone call to e-meet and brainstorm ways you can help one another or the community. 4. Take time off. As entrepreneurs we work 24/7. We have a lot to manage and run, but this might be the universe telling you to REST. Sometimes during times of rest we discover our next best idea. It is important to relax and care for our mind and body! 5. Learn new skills. (I actually bought a new guitar online and am SO excited to get better at playing) Always wanted to learn how to take your business online? Master Lightroom? Launch a product? Close a deal? There are sooo many online classes that you can take to become an expert (and a lot of them are offering discounts during this time). Plus, it’s a win/win.
